Medical Research Job Board

Design Challenge

To streamline and modernize an antiquated process through improved technology and experience, thus improving real-world outcomes.

Problem Space

Jefferson’s MD curriculum contains a continuous component of scholarly inquiry on topics chosen by students with guidance from their mentors.

Medical students are responsible for completing the research requirement in order to proceed through the JeffMD curriculum. However, research project demand seems to currently exceed supply.  Additionally, PI’s/Attendings don’t keep up with posting their projects to any database.

The current process for finding and matching to available projects is outdated, cumbersome and inefficient.

“This would be so helpful and I think more efficient for all parties!”

“Make sure it’s easily accessible, simple, and clear in layout. Otherwise no one will use it. Thanks for doing this!”
